Abstract :
Summary form only given. In order to understand the oscillatory flow characteristics of magnetic fluid (MF) under a nonuniform magnetic field, the authors take into account the effect of the nonuniform distribution of mass concentration. They performed a numerical analysis in the case of oscillatory MF flow in a circular straight pipe under a nonuniform steady and fluctuating magnetic fields, applied transversely to the pipe axis.
