Abstract :
This work demonstrates the beam forming of light from metal nano-aperture vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers (VCSELs). This method utilizes periodic corrugations patterned around the nano-aperture. This helps to ameliorate the problems of low transmission efficiency and high angular divergence.
