Abstract
Physical mechanisms of jamming appearing during coherent radars´ operation are analyzed. The dependence of the jamming level on the wind speed is structured. It is shown that power reflected from the sea surface in the direction of the target signal with increasing wind speed decreases rapidly. It is shown that the non-linear effects in the field of sea waves which lead to deviations in inclination distribution from Gausse distribution do not influence the change of jamming level with the wind force increase.
