Abstract :
Summary form only given. Antiferromagnets are essential parts of spin electronic devices. Recent theoretical models of antiferromagnetic/ferromagnetic interfaces start from a discrete lattice of spins. Here we present finite element simulations based on a continuum model to treat magnetization processes in antiferromagnets. This novel techniques allows to take into account structural features like polycrystalline grains and to resolve antiferromagnetic domain structures at a mesoscopic length-scale.
