Abstract :
A new method of digital signal processing by smart antennas (SA), enabling to obtain an image of the object with angular super-resolution, is theoretically justified. The method is based on the extrapolation of the signals received by each element of the SA outside the array aperture. This allows introducing new virtual emitters and thus synthesizing much larger antenna array. The method is tested in numerical experiments on a mathematical model.
