Abstract :
An operator services digital integration (OSDI) system is described. The system combines three major operator services: toll and assistance (T&A), directory assistance (DA), and intercept. The current environment, in which each of the three services has separate network architectures with unique switching, database and operator workstation components, is reviewed. The proposed architecture and the expense reduction and new market opportunities it provides are discussed
