Abstract
This paper concerns antenna-array spatial optimization as a type of signal pre-processing against the background of point-source interferences taking into account mutual coupling of antenna elements. It is shown that preprocessing with adjustment of the adaptive antenna array element spacing gives the capability to reduce considerably eigenvalue spread of spatial correlation matrix and obtain faster convergence of adaptation gradient-type algorithm.
