Abstract :
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has released 7.5 GHz of bandwidth for ultra wideband (UWB)-radiation. In this paper a simple method of generating a pulse that matches the spectrum mask is proposed. Without any mixers a pulse shape that covers nearly the whole UWB spectrum is synthesized from a sinusoidal.
