  • Abstract
    Wavelength preserving 3R regeneration is demonstrated that is insensitive to the input signal state-of-polarization. Distributed Raman amplification is used to enhance cross-phase modulation and allows the retiming and reshaping stages to simultaneously achieve good performance.
