Abstract :
This discussion paper is intended to provide some existing service requirements and some considerations/solutions to them, if any, in one of the most popular global standards, 3GPP Release 12 in the LTE evolution path, so that one can have some views on the benefit of the existing requirements/solutions as well as some views on the limitation of them. This paper selects two examples, Access Control and Proximity Service, to provide some issues to consider through a possible integration of, and optimization of them for foreseeing the necessity of further enhancement of protocols, called Service Access Integration and Optimization in this paper.
