Abstract :
Distributed nature of fiber parametric device poses fundamental challenge as it leads to unphysical fabrication requirements and is chief obstacle on a path to practical parametric engineering. We describe the new localized four-photon mixing technique for exact dispersion fluctuation mapping to overcome this basic limit.
