Abstract :
The author describes the ISO 9000 standards. These standards and their requirements are suited not only to establishing quality systems but also to presenting them to clients and customers. The standards are based on an all-encompassing quality system. Using the Public Switching Division of Siemens AG as an example the implementation of a quality system which meets the requirements of the ISO 9000 standards is demonstrated on several selected cases
