Abstract :
We have successfully manufactured stretchable, flexible, large-area active matrix comprising organic transistors for the applications to large-area sensors and displays. A plastic film with organic transistor-based electronic circuits is mechanically processed using the numerical-controlled cutting system to form a net-shaped structure, which allows the films to be extended more than 25%. Integrating organic pressure-sensitive rubber with the organic transistor active matrix, the pressure sensor matrix was manufactured, and the distributions of pressure were obtained even on arbitrary curved surfaces.
