Abstract :
Summary form only given. The optimal design method presented in this paper is Taguchi´s approach and GA method which is applied the first time to determine the optimum design parameters of Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) BLDC motor. The result show that GA and Taguchi´s design method is a very efficient and effective approach in designing IPM BLDC motors for high performance. The magnetic equivalent circuit network method proposed in this paper speed calculation process up in analysis.
