Abstract :
Currently, the new round of energy revolution has kicked off, and electric power companies´ strategies of constructing `smart grid´ emerge all over the world. As a part of smart grid, smart power utilization is expected to play a key role in constructing the smart grid. This paper presents a novel structural framework of domestic electric system, develops a smart controller which can acquire energy consumption information at appliance level, and proposes a load control method based on real-time price. The simulation results indicate that smart domestic electric system can provide technical means for making the power utilization more reasonable, shifting the peak load, and promoting the security and economy of the grid.
