Abstract :
A new parametric model for solar irradiance components is reported and its application to compute solar irradiation is illustrated. The tests against ground measured data show an acceptable level of accuracy of the new model. Thus, it may be an efficient and useful tool for potential users engaged in solar energy applications, in order to evaluate the collectable solar energy in a specific location.
