Abstract :
This paper introduces activities of 4Hi-Motortronics of KERI such as energy saving high efficiency induction motor, 1 MW high temperature superconducting (HTS) motor, permanent magnet excited transverse flux motor (TFM), 200 kw 30,000 rpm high-speed motor, and nanometer scale precision magnetic lévitation stage. This paper also introduces other activities of KERI, which are not within the scope of 4Hi-Motortronics, such as 500 kW synchronous generator (SG) and doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) for power generation by wind/tidal current, clean room transportation system and the test facilities of KERL.
