Abstract :
The Urban Maglev Program is a unique type of R&D project in the sense that it is a combination of R&D project and construction project. The prototype maglev vehicles of commercialization model were built and have been under various tests on the test track. The preliminary test results of the maglev vehicles show that the performances including powering and braking, ride quality, cabin noise and vibration are within the design requirements.
