Abstract :
A new set of sufficient conditions for nonminimal realization of square matrix of real rational functions in complex frequency, as admittance matrix of passive, transformer-less, common-ground RC network with nonminimal number of capacitors, is presented. The obtained result is produced by using Howitt transformation and can be readily applied to the admittance matrix synthesis of other types of two-element-kind RLC networks due to the possibility of converting their synthesis problem to that of pertinent RC network prototype.
