Abstract :
We report on an in-building fiber-optic wireless-communication systems utilizing 2×2 multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless over fiber scheme. The proposed technologies can enable protocol-independency to the end users´ devices deployed in the in-building facilities by supporting existing and emerging wireless services. The measured results show the uplink and downlink data rate can reach 1.5 Mbps and 13.5 Mbps, respectively.
