Abstract :
The modern power grid is tending towards more complexity as power has become an integral part of life even in remote location. Thus the vulnerability of such grids has become more prominent; necessitating some simulation based modeling to extract some important features for such sprawling network. The spatial structure of the power grid has been used for topological analysis of the power grid. The case studies pertaining to eastern region power grid of India validate such approach.
