Abstract :
Since the government data is credible, plentiful, and relevant to citizen, the government disclosures part of its data as government open data to stimulate the development of public applications [1]. The trip planning application providing as the best path for the trip [2] draws the most attention for people. In this article, we proposed a real-time trip planner system assisted with government open data, and presented a path selection scheme based on the provided data. Besides, we designed different user interfaces - WebUI and AppUI for stationary users and mobile users, respectively. Based on the requirements from users, the trip planner system would reply all the candidate paths in a descendant traveling time order back for users´ references.
