  • Abstract
Summary form only given. We present dynamical magnetic properties of [FeNi/X/Co] trilayers (spin valves (X=Cu) and magnetic tunnel junctions (X=Al/sub 2/O/sub 3/)), deposited on step-bunched Si[111] substrates. We show that the Neel "orange-peel" coupling vanishes when the nucleation of reversed domains becomes dominant over domain wall propagation in the magnetization reversal (MR) of the free layer.
