Abstract
The paper presents a collaborative ethnography approach for cognitive requirements elicitation of work teams in complex environments. It discusses the concepts of cognitive systems and their requirements, and presents a review of methods commonly used in the elicitation of requirements both in the case of traditional systems and complex systems. Then, it points to some advantages of a collaborative approach in comparison to other approaches. An evaluation plan of the approach based on experimentation and the development of a groupware to support the proposed methodology is also presented. The groupware aims to stimulate collaboration and an organization in the elicitation process of cognitive requirements.
