One of the most promising and interesting sector is that of the renewable energy technologies. Indeed, climate change has become one of the greatest global challenges and it is largely identified as the most important environmental problem facing the globe. In this research we try to understand the dynamic process of entrepreneurial initiative in the renewable energy sector. We aim to investigate which are the main motivations of an entrepreneur in this sector and what are factors that influence the process of creating a renewable energy project. The field study is emerging and we will contribute by presenting a conceptual model of a sustainable entrepreneurship in the renewable energy sector.
