Abstract
Shifting the service requests coming from network host computers can reduce the network transfer data even can make network system less depend on bandwidth by selecting reasonable transfer path for mobile Agent. The Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO) algorithm with population density and Lotka-Volterra competition equation of multi-population was applied into routing selection of mobile Agent. The experimental results showed that the PSO algorithm with population density can solve the routing selection problem of mobile Agent more effectively than the single population PSO algorithm.
