Abstract :
Due to near-far effect and self-interfering phenomena, transmit power control (TPC) is an essential component in WCDMA system. The function of power control is just like a lever, because it mustn´t only guarantee the effective connection between Node B and each UE but also satisfied that the disturbance to other mobile termination should be controlled in smallest scope. In other words power control must keep the balance between enhancing system capacity and ensuring the communication quality. Parameter setting has great influence on the performance for power control in WCDMA. This paper analyzes the impact of parameter setting at different speed on the TPC and shows the simulating results.
