  • Abstract
    This paper presents a fast image registration algorithm with sub-pixel accuracy for IC package industry. The algorithm is based on point correlation method and improved mainly in two aspects. One is using entropy as correlation measure function and the other is proposing pair-wise exchange algorithm to obtain the pre-defined set of points. It also includes spline interpolation model that ensures the algorithm with sub-pixel accuracy. Simulation results confirm the validity of the presented algorithm.
