Abstract
Performance and physiological indices are used to evaluate the mental workload of ship bridge teammates; a captain, a duty officer, a helmsman, and a pilot. But we do not clear which physiological indices are best for measuring their general and stress conditions (mental workload). To evaluate mental workload of bridge teammates at the same time is important because of ship handling does with bridge teamwork among the captain, duty officer, helmsman and so on. However, the evaluation of mental workload for bridge teammates only tried by heart rate variability. In this paper, we propose to evaluate the mental workload of bridge teammates using heart rate variability, salivary amylase, and facial temperature.
