Abstract :
In order to build an adaptable the radio signal generator which is maintained and upgraded easily, hardware architecture based on software radio is presented. The structure of the DSP+FPGA+DDS core plays their respective advantages of programming and processing chip of DSP and FPGA, and generates flexibly different base- band signal sources with the method of the software. To make the system meet the requirements of broadband signal source, the high-speed and reliable Transmission of data streams are implemented by data cache accesses with the use of dual-clock FIFO. The system is tested by the hardware platform and the results show that: In the case of the data transmission without errors, the maximum transmission rate of data channel of the signal generator is 87.5MBps.
