Abstract
IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is considered as the core technology of Next Generation Network, the wide use of Peer-to-peer (P2P) technology in Internet promoted the research of combination of IMS and P2P, this paper proposes a P2P file-sharing system based on IMS. The issues to be considered include the combination of P2P and SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), NAT (Network Address Translators) and Firewall Traversal. The framework of this system is SIP-over-P2P networks build in IMS and adopt hybrid P2P structure, the P2P overlay is Pastry DHT (Distributed Hash Table) network, finally, this paper gives the signaling processes of the system use case.
