Abstract
Global enterprises typically face large costs for worker mobility, particularly for high-volume communications in international roaming. This is the case whether the enterprise manages their own communications network or relies on a service provider. As both carrier and enterprise communications networks move to SIP-based signaling, the challenge is to support seamless mobility economically while retaining rich call processing features and unified communications. We describe an architecture we are implementing and compare it with other possible approaches.
