Abstract :
DDS technology was used for designing a multi-waveform signal generator which can produce sine wave, triangle wave and trapezoidal wave. In matlab / simulink environment, DSP Builder was adopted to create a systematic mathematical model, then the simulation was carried out, the simulation results were correct and then converted into hardware description language which was written in FPGA, and then SignalTap II embedded logic analyzer was used to capture information on the signal nodes in the system for analysis, and waveform was output on the development board after the desired effect was achieved. Since the system was modeled under graph, the operation was simple, and modification was flexible, and it also has the characteristics of high resolution factor of DDS, continuous phase, and rapid switching speed.
