Abstract
Summary form only given. Omitting the rotor position sensor of field oriented controlled inverter fed induction machines is so far only possible by evaluating the transient electrical behaviour of the machine. In this paper, a combined model is presented which integrates a transient energetic model of the laminations hysteresis into a magnetic equivalent circuit model of the machine and thus enables an optimisation of shaft sensorless drives.
