Abstract :
A very flexible resource model for use in long-term broadband integrated services digital network (BISDN) control and signaling is described. The focus is on resource model definition for defining an initial set of elementary objects and/or compound objects, i.e. objects composed of several elementary objects that can be used to describe all foreseeable configurations and form a basis for control and signaling protocols. The term resource is used to refer to logical resources. The robust and flexible resource model describes multimedia, multiparty communications
