Abstract :
A CMOS implementation of a linearized floating resistance is presented, in which the resistor value depends only on the beta of a matched set of NMOS transistors, and on a bias current I/sub B/. A linear amplifier is realized by combining two resistors and one op amp. In this circuit the nonlinearities of the individual resistors cancel; fully differential operation is not required. Experimental data show good agreement with simulation results.<>
