Abstract :
Pervasive service gateway is the most important equipment for pervasive computing. We design a pervasive service gateway for the smart space. We selected OSGi framework, embedded Linux as operating system and ARM9 platform as hardware to implement this service gateway. We mainly designed three application modules. They are remote control by Web server, local control in smart space, and automatic control by wireless temperature sensor. These three kinds of application modules are not independent, but collaborate with each other to complete the intelligent control of smart space. Three modules can share the information and control results of equipments to each other. According to our experiments, the pervasive service gateway runs well.
