  • Abstract
This paper analyzes the factors influencing the recovery process of a particular micro-grid (MG) following a short-circuit. The MG is supplied by a classical synchronous generator (SG), which performs the MG voltage regulation through its excitation system and by an induction generator (IG). The MG frequency is kept at a constant value by the use of dump load circuit (DL). Simulations are carried out in order to investigate the recovery process after a fault that appeared in the MG has been cleared.
