Abstract
The authors review the University of Michigan´s CAEMEMS design architecture and present details of generic software tools they have developed that should prove useful to designers of other systems. CAEMEMS is an evolving software framework for the design of sensor and actuator CAE (computer-aided engineering) systems. Results from a benchmarking test of the diaphragm-pressure-sensor module CAEMEMS D-Module are used as examples.<>
