A study of personalized learning system based on XML and WEB mining

In order to improve the efficiency of distance learning evaluation, this paper brings forward an Web-based intelligent navigation personalized learning system (PLS) to meet individual student´s learning requirements due to their different knowledge background, learning skills and subjects. This paper focuses on the research of intelligent navigation in PLS. The aim is to enhance the “self -adapting and self -learning” ability of PLS, and make it possible to replace human teachers to instruct the student to some extent.
