Abstract :
In this paper a performance analysis of the turbo MIMO equalizer concept for broadband MIMO channel is presented. The channel modeling in the link-level simulation is based on MIMO measurement in different scenarios. The results reveal the strong relationships between the propagation conditions in terms of the available spatial and temporal multipath diversity, the antenna configurations, and the achievable bit error rates. It is shown that the consideration of a simple transmit diversity concept and the application of antenna subset selection leads to remarkable performance improvements.
