Summary form only given. Perovskite type La/sub 1-x/Sr/sub x/MnO/sub 3/ (LSMO) is an interesting substance from the attractive magnetoresistive effect. Many works of the bulk materials and the epitaxial or polycrystalline films have been made, however, there is little work on the sputtered film. We fabricated the LSMO film by RF sputtering on a non-heated substrate followed by annealing in air. The composition, X-ray diffraction analysis, magnetic and magnetoresistive properties of the films were studied.
