Abstract
Summary form only given. Transport and magnetic properties of La-Ba-Ca-Mn-O thin films fabricated by the pulsed laser deposition technique had been investigated to see the effects of substitution of the small atom Ca by Ba which is much bigger. The insulator-to-metal (IM) transition was obtained in several compositions. Magnetoresistance was also measured. Coexistence of canted antiferromagnetic insulating (CAFI) and ferromagnetic metallic (FMM) states was evidenced. It was also found that doping enhances the paramagnetism (PR)-ferromagnetism (FM) transition temperature.
