  • Abstract
The accuracy of the shear model for the shape rolling mill is directly related to the working rate and yield rate of the rolling mill, and it is very important for the production process of shape steel. In this paper, a novel method, which is to establish the mathematical model according to the different specialties of the light and the heavy shape steel, is presented. The model is twice optimized for one shape steel. The application shows that the model and the shearing both became more accurate and increases the mill productivity and higher yield rate.
