Abstract :
The key technologies of the digital trunking communication system are used widely, including modulation and speech coding. In the City Emergency Response System (CERS), the bandwidth efficiency and voice quality are important standards to measure the scheduling optimization. The paper proposes the modulation of a 16-ary quadrature amplitude and uses a newer technology of speech coding technology - Vector and Excited Linear Prediction (VSELP) to optimize the scheduling function in CERS, its feasibility has been studied. The results show that the key technologies of digital trunking communication system can greatly improve the bandwidth utilization and voice quality, indicating that the key technologies of the digital trunking communication system can optimize the scheduling function in CERS.
