Abstract :
A creative Nike-hook shaped snowboard course is proposed to maximize snowboarding performance. Firstly, the snowboard course is simplified by assuming that the direction of velocity is not changed by the snowboarder and is put forward to analyze the moving process on the cross section Subsequently, boosters wedge blocks are added on both side of the slide to enhance energy conversion efficiency and stabilize athletes´ gravity center. Finally, the Nike-hook shaped snowboard course is presented to achieve high speed, stability and security. The experiment results show that the proposed model is effective in improving athlete performance.
