Abstract :
In order to establish the spatial data model for mines, the mine spatial environment was analyzed, five characteristics of spatial phenomena in mines and five demands for the 3D spatial data model of the mine basic information platform were summarized. Then an entity-oriented spatial-temporal data model with parameter skeleton was designed. It integrates the topology-concerned vector data model and block-based octree model, so it can express the boundary and internal property of orebodys. A network based on parameters skeleton model was introduced into the model to describe the system including the interrelated entities. The model also includes the abstract spatial feature and the complete spatial feature. They can describe the non-entity space phenomenon and the set of semantically related entities. Finally, it has given some samples which used this model to describe the mines´ spatial phenomenon and production systems. The samples also show the well practicability of this model in mining field.
