Abstract :
In this paper, application of the vehicle telematic system in the design of an intelligent HEV control strategy is presented. The system employs a genetic-fuzzy controller that considers the influence of traffic condition on the controller parameters. The proposed intelligent controller is tuned by the traffic data received from the telematic information systems. For this purpose, the concept of the driving cycle is introduced to characterize the driving conditions by several traffic conditions. Accordingly, the application of telematics information for adaptation of the HEV fuzzy-based control system is explained. Finally, simulation results are presented to show the effectiveness of the suggested approach.
