Abstract :
This paper gives an insight into the technological development of the virtual machine, briefly presents the virtualisation solutions and highlights some possible application fields of virtual machines focusing on intelligent traffic control systems. This paper emphasises the cost reducing effect of ITS application of server virtualisation through two case studies.
