Abstract :
Taking cats as experiment animal model, the chaotic characteristics of postganglionic inferior cardiac sympathetic nerve activity (PICSNA) is analyzed with Cao method, correlation dimension analysis and largest Lyapunov exponent analysis. The analysis results show that the deterministic chaos lies in the peak-peak interval time series of PICSNA. Our work maybe can help explain why HRV is chaotic
